The Professional Occupation Permit allows skilled professionals to live and work in Mauritius. To get a Mauritius professional occupation permit, you need to have a job from a company in Mauritius. The minimum salary for the occupation permit is MUR 30,000. This occupation permit is valid for the duration of your employment contract. Professionals can apply for the permit for a maximum of 10 years. After 3 years on a professional occupation permit, you may be eligible to apply for a permanent residence permit in Mauritius.

Mauritius Self-Employed Permit
